3 Instagram spots in Singapore you can see in one morning

It's always easy to take for granted the beauty of the city you live in, especially if you are like me, constantly looking for a new country for the next travel destination. These 3 spots are all just within a 20 minute travel time, which makes it easy to visit in a morning before you head out for lunch.

(9am) Gardens by the Bay - Cloud Forest, Flower Dome, and the *NEW* Floral Fantasy

Where do I even begin, Gardens by the Bay has so much to offer. At the main entrance you can see the super groove trees, further in there are 2 main indoor attractions which are the Cloud Forest and Flower Dome.

At 23C, Cloud Forest exhibits the same greenery all year round, and make sure to take a snap in front of the large waterfall at the entrance.

Flower Dome is an interesting one, it is also an indoor garden, but the flowers change depending on the season, for example Cherry Blossoms in Spring, Roses currently in Summer, and in autumn pumpkins. You'll need to check the website for current updates.

Floral Fantasy is a new exhibition. The display of flowers from the ceiling is just absolutely magical. There's also so many types of flowers in there, from the Gerbera Daisy, to Lupins, and Sunflowers. At the end is a 4D ride, which you are touring the whole of Gardens by the Bay as a Dragon Fly.

***Tip*** Book tickets online here in advance to get the earliest time slot, right at opening. I went at 9am and there was only 1 other family there.

(10am) Art Science Museum - Future World

Walk 10 minutes east from Floral Fantasy, crossing the bridge to Marina Bay Sands, and you'll get to the Art Science Museum.

Team Labs from Japan is well known for their incredible display of LED lights which create an infinite mirage inside a small confined space. The most well known display are the floating lanterns in Tokyo, however Team Labs set up a permanent display in Singapore's Art Science Museum. Head into the Future World Exhibition and near the end, there's a room called "Space".

Believe it or not, this short walkway was only maybe 10 meters long.

The colors change in beat with the mystical music played inside the room.

(11:30am) Joo Chiat Road - The Classic Singapore Shop Houses

Shop houses are an icon of Singapore, you can see them everywhere, from China Town to the East Coast Area, where Joo Chiat Road is. This row of houses though do not have parking in front, so it is much easier to get an unobstructed shot of the beautiful architecture.

I only arrived here close to noon, and there was maybe 2 other people taking photos. There's no need to wake up extra early for this location.
